- Helaio is committed to making helaio.com accessible to people with disabilities, in keeping with their right to equality, dignity and independence. The same requirement applies to the practitioner websites Helaio builds and hosts.
- This website is built to comply with level AA of the WCAG 2.0 guidelines, the basis of the French RGAA framework.
Conformity status
- Conformity status: partially conformant. No full audit has been carried out yet.
- Every page is checked automatically each time the site is updated (Lighthouse: 100 out of 100 for accessibility on every page on 17 September 2026). These checks cover only part of the criteria; keyboard navigation and screen readers have not yet been tested end to end.
What is in place on this site
- Full keyboard navigation, a “Skip to content” link at the top of every page and a clearly visible focus indicator.
- Screen-reader-friendly structure: ranked headings, labelled navigation, main content and footer landmarks.
- A text description for every meaningful image; decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
- Level AA colour contrast (at least 4.5:1 for text).
- Text can be enlarged up to 200% without loss of content; the site adapts to small screens.
- Forms with explicit labels, required fields marked and status messages announced by screen readers.
- No flashing, no automatic animation; the system’s “reduce motion” preference is respected. The site also works without JavaScript.
- Right-to-left writing direction in Hebrew; the language is declared on every page.
Known non-conformities and limitations
- On the “Try it” pages the demo site is shown inside a frame: for easier navigation, open it in a separate window using the link next to the panel.
- Voice dictation depends on your browser and microphone; everything that can be done by voice can also be typed.
- Uploading photos and a logo in the “See my site” form has not been tested with a screen reader. If you have any difficulty, e-mail your files to the coordinator below.
Accessibility coordinator
- For any accessibility enquiry: Olivier Herbelin (Helaio), phone +972544957374, email contact@helaio.com. We will reply as soon as we can.
